The tribal particularly of Chattisgarh specialized in extracting iron from iron ores and started making knives, tools of their daily requirement. They gradually evolved and their skill also with the time. Nandlal forefathers have been practicing this craft since many generations.
The wrought iron craftwork of Nandlal was noticed in his village and he Started experimenting in various postures and sizes of animals. He became The State award winner by creating his master craftwork in tribal art.
